The Breast Care Center of Johnson Memorial Hospital is designed to offer women the care they need to ensure their breast health.

You’ll find all of the technology and services you would expect, but we took extra steps to offer privacy, comfort, and the sort of personal care that makes all the difference in any hospital.

The Center hosts two mammography suites where over 325 mammograms are performed each month. In order to make a mammogram more comfortable, every patient is given a Women’s Touch foam-cushioned mammopad for use during their procedure. All mammograms are read and interpreted by board-certified radiologists who specialize in mammography. We’re staffed with certified mammography technologists who have years of experience.  

We also offer breast ultrasound and, for women needing testing beyond a diagnostic mammogram, the only stereotactic breast biopsy service in Johnson County. Board-certified surgeons trained in the treatment of the breast disease are available upon referral or for consultation.
