    About Us

    The Wound Healing Center offers state-of-the-art outpatient clinical wound care and hyperbaric medicine. We specialize in advanced wound care, using a variety of clinical treatments, therapies and support services to treat chronic wounds. Our physician-driven, multi-disciplinary approach to outpatient wound care has a superior success rate in facilitating the healing process.

    A patient with a wound that has not begun to heal in two weeks or is not completely healed in six weeks may benefit from the proven, best-practice methodologies at the Wound Healing Center. Some of the reasons for wound therapy may include:

    With our caring staff and specialized treatment plans developed just for you, we can provide the care you need to get back to normal life. Most of our treatments are covered by Medicare/Medicaid, HMOs, and other private insurance plans. We are experts in caring for people whose wounds have resisted traditional treatment.

    How To Start Healing

    • Physicians usually refer patients to our Center however, a referral is not required so you can make an appointment directly.
    • When you call for your first appointment, we will ask you a few questions about your wound and your health in general.
    • Our team of providers will thoroughly evaluate your wound and review your health and medical history prior to treatment.
    • Tests to determine your blood flow, tissue oxygenation or to see if there's any infection may be needed.
    • Together with your physician, we'll develop a treatment program based on your needs.
    • Once your wound heals you'll return to your doctor for follow up care.
