  • All mammograms are read by Board Certified radiologists who specialize in mammography and breast disease.

  • Medical Director who is a board-certified surgeon with over 20 years experience in the treatment of breast disease.

  • Staff of board-certified surgeons whose combined experience in treating breast disease exceeds 50 years.

  • The Breast Care Center is open Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Two Thursdays per month the Center is open until 6:30 p.m. and one Saturday per month from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. to accommodate working women.

  • The Breast Care Center is accredited by the American College of Radiologists, as well as, the FDA and meets all of the standards of the Federal Mammography Quality Standards Act.

  • The Breast Care Center was created to give women a program and facility that focuses almost exclusively on the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease, particularly breast cancer. It is one of the most treatable forms of cancer for women if diagnosed early and treated with the latest procedures and techniques.

  • Beginning at 40, women are advised to get a mammogram every year. This testing schedule should begin earlier for women with a history of breast cancer in their family.   • Last year the American Cancer Society estimates 213,000 women were newly diagnosed with breast cancer and the number of breast cancer related deaths reached 40,000.
