Center Features

• 6 private infusion/treatment rooms
  These rooms are reserved for long treatments of a few hours or more or for patients who need to lie down. Each room is equipped with a TV.
  
  
• 3 infusion chairs
  This area is for short-term procedures or patients who prefer to sit up. Area is also equipped with TV/VCR.
  
  
• Nutrition area
  Patients at the center during a mealtime have choice of nourishment.
  
  
• Linear accelerator
  The latest linear accelerator technology available is used to deliver radiation treatment.
  
  
• CT simulator and treatment planning area
  Radiation therapy requires a great deal of planning before the treatment is ever delivered. A complex computer system is used to coordinate the care planning process for each patient.
  
  
• The Cancer Care Center has all of the planning equipment in the same facility, which streamlines the treatment process.
