Cancer is never a word anyone wants to hear. The journey to remission can be long and difficult, but getting the care you need shouldn't be. At a time like that, you want assurance that you're receiving the best available care. We think the Cancer Care Center of Johnson Memorial Hospital is just that.
After receiving a diagnosis and learning about treatment options, cancer patients often find themselves facing many difficult decisions and hard questions. That is why our Cancer Patient Navigator, Becky Brummett, RN, BSN, OCN, is such an important part of the JMH Cancer Care Team. She helps patients and families with solving insurance problems, finding doctors, explaining treatment and care options, going with patients to visits, communicating with their health care team, assisting caregivers and managing medical paperwork.
Becky is an Oncology Certified Registered Nurse and is also certified in chemotherapy and biotherapy administration.
We know that anyone who receives a diagnosis of cancer has many questions. Becky is an experienced oncology nurse available to provide you and your caregivers with support and guidance.

Patients at the Cancer Care Center have access to state of the art services, care, and equipment at the hands of board-certified Medical Oncologists, Nurse Practitioners, and Oncology Certified Nurses. Our multi-specialty, team-based approach coordinates the best treatment options and offers you information about ongoing clinical trials, new treatment options, and cancer-related information, education and support.
We also offer access to a cancer registry that collects data on types and stages of cancers and treatment results, and offers lifelong patient follow-up. Our team provides ongoing monitoring and improvement of care in a location close to our patients' homes.
