
Charles “Chip” Johnson
Vice President of Physician Services
Charles “Chip” Johnson, MHA, joined Johnson Memorial Health as Vice President of Physician Services in 2019. Chip came to JMH from Indiana University Health Southern Indiana Physicians, where he was Director of Practice Operations. During his time at IU Health, Chip helped build the southern Indiana physician group from 11 providers to over 400 providers in just over seven years.
Chip earned a BA degree in biochemistry from DePauw University in Greencastle and a Masters of Health Administration from the Fairbanks School of Public Health at IUPUI in Indianapolis.
He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) and the Indiana Medical Group Management Association (IMGMA). He has been a board member of IMGMA since 2018.
A native of Bloomington, Chip and his family continue to make Bloomington and Monroe County their home.
