Groundbreaking Ceremony August 30 for new Emergency and Outpatient Services Buildings

Johnson Memorial Health will break ground during a ceremony on August 30, 2017 for the new Emergency Department and Outpatient Services buildings that will serve Johnson County and the surrounding areas. The event will be held on the east side of the hospital's main campus located at 1125 West Jefferson Street. The $42 million project, the largest in Johnson Memorial Health’s history, will completely re-shape the east side of the campus. Construction is expected to begin this year.

Guest speakers will present the plans for the new construction of the state-of-the-art emergency/outpatient services facility featuring a 7,400 square-foot emergency department and more than 33,000 square feet of additional space for outpatient services including radiology, laboratory and wellness activities. Johnson Memorial's new comprehensive rehabilitation center on the west side of the Johnson Memorial Hospital campus in Franklin is on schedule to be complete this fall.
