More than $700,000 has been awarded to county residents pursuing health careers through these scholarships. Click on the links below to view the criteria and procedures to apply. Scholarship applications are released annually on February 2 and due by April 1.

Johnson Memorial Health Indiana

Freda P. & Millard R. Montgomery Registered Nursing Scholarship

Financially assists Johnson County residents pursuing a Bachelor of Science Nursing degree at any recognized and accredited college or university in Indiana. 


Katie Robards Memorial Education Scholarship

Financially assists Johnson County residents pursuing careers in a health-related field at any recognized and accredited college or university in Indiana. 


Anita Keller Lifelong Learning Nursing Scholarship

Financially assists RNs employed at Johnson Memorial Hospital in pursuing the completion of a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Nursing from an NLN/CCNE accredited program. 

As of January 2022, this scholarship was renamed the Anita Keller Lifelong Learning Nursing Scholarship fund. During Anita's tenure at Johnson Memorial Hospital, she poured her heart into the nurses and their education to ensure all patients received quality care. With the assistance of PNPC, she started the annual Pins & Needles bowling event to help fund this scholarship. This event has become a highlight for many staff and allowed for this scholarship to continue to live on for years to come. We are extremely grateful for her dedication, hard work and passion for nurses at JMH.


JMH Foundation Professional Development Award

Financially assists Johnson Memorial Hospital employees continue their education through single, short-term professional development (seminar, workshop, education programs and/or certifications) within the employee's area of work, with the expectation the recipient will remain at Johnson Memorial Hospital at the completion of his/her program.  


JMH Guild High School Health-Related Scholarship

Financially assists high school seniors or high school graduates who have graduated within the past two years, who plan to continue their education in a health-related field at any recognized and accredited college or university in Indiana.  


JMH Guild Continuing Education Health Field Scholarship

Financially assists Johnson Memorial Hospital employees or volunteers continue their education in a health-related field at any recognized and accredited college or university in Indiana, with the expectation the recipient will remain at Johnson Memorial Hospital at the completion of his/her program.
