Source of life and healing,
Be with me in this time of physical, emotional and spiritual need.
Help me cope with the challenges I am facing.
Comfort and encourage those who love and care and whose lives have been unsettled and disrupted by illness.
I pray for patience and for understanding.
I pray for strength and wisdom.
I pray for healing and for inner peace.
May the One who brings comfort surround you with goodness and strength.
May your Spirit be calmed and renewed.
May you find wisdom to guide you in your journey.
May you and your loved ones know hope and peace.
The light of God surrounds us;
The love of God enfolds us;
The power of God protects us;
The presence of God watches over us
Wherever we are, God is.
And all is well.
Replace the tension within me with a holy relaxation.Replace the turbulence within me with a sacred calm.
Replace the anxiety within me with a quiet confidence.Replace the fear within me with a strong faith.
Replace the bitterness within me with the sweetness of your grace.
Replace the darkness within me with a glowing light.
Replace the coldness within me with gentle warmth.
Dear Lord, the Source of all healing,
I surrender myself into your creative healing hands,
knowing with certainty that nothing can ever separate me from your eternal love.
I give heartfelt thanks to you for your goodness and your loving kindness to me.
I give thanks for those whom I love and for those who care for me.
I ask for renewal of my body.
Guide now, I pray, the minds and hands of the physicians, surgeons and staff who minister to me, that the blessing of health, of mind, body and soul may be restored to me.
Thank you, God, for being there for me as I cry out in my time of need.
It comforts me to know that the God of the Universe takes the time to listen to me and to care about what I have to say.
God, there are things happening around me right now that I don’t understand.
Some of these things make me feel weak, helpless and afraid.
Even in the midst of this, I know that you are in control. I know the situation is in Your hand and I trust You.
I ask for the strength and wisdom to endure this situation in full assurance of Your grace.
