ClaimAid Insurance Marketplace Assistance
Johnson Memorial Health partners with ClaimAid to offer health insurance eligibility screening and enrollment services to patients and the community. You can meet with a ClaimAid advocate at the Franklin campus and receive assistance in completing applications for Hospital Presumptive Eligibility (HPE), Medicaid, Healthy Indiana Plan (HIP) and Marketplace plans.
The Healthy Indiana Plan is a health insurance program for qualified adults. The plan is offered by the state of Indiana. It pays for medical costs for members and could even provide vision and dental coverage. It also rewards members for taking better care of their health. Johnson Memorial Health can help you enroll you in HIP.
Co-Pay and Payments
Though you may pay the amount prior to the receipt of a bill if you know the amount required, we bill for deductible and co-pays after receipt of payment from the insurance company. You will be expected to pay this amount on receipt of the bill.
Financial Assistance Policy - Billing and Collections Policy
Johnson Memorial Health is committed to providing quality health care that is affordable and accessible to all, regardless of the patient’s ability to pay. We offer financial assistance to ensure that cost will not be a barrier to access to healthcare in our community. We also help our patients apply for assistance programs offered by the state of Indiana.
Insurance Billing
Johnson Memorial Health will act as your insurance advocate and bill your insurance carrier for services rendered. The hospital expects payment from you or your insurance company within 60 days of discharge. If your insurance has not paid, you should contact them directly.
