From infants to seniors, the quality of an individual’s health directs the quality of an individual’s life. The Johnson Memorial Hospital Foundation has played a vital role in providing health related education and services within the walls of Johnson Memorial Hospital and beyond for more than 30 years.
Our mission is to raise charitable funds to benefit Johnson Memorial Hospital in improving the health of our community.
How We Help
The health care industry has undergone significant change since the Johnson Memorial Hospital Foundation was founded in 1985. Remarkable scientific achievements have dramatically improved treatments and outcomes of illness and injuries. Yet, those advances came at considerable cost. Government funding for hospitals started to decrease as costs for providing health care services began to rise.
The Johnson Memorial Hospital Foundation funds scholarships for emerging health care leaders, provides hospital departments with resources for programs, services, and equipment, organizes community fundraisers, and partners in additional community health outreach initiatives.

The JMH Foundation is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization and holds an annual meeting in addition to regularly scheduled meetings throughout the year. Our Board of Directors consists of leaders in health care, financial, legal and business industries.

Board Meetings
The Johnson Memorial Hospital Foundation Board of Directors regularly meets four times each year at Johnson Memorial Health 1125 West Jefferson Street, Franklin, Indiana 46131. Additional meetings can be scheduled if needed. Meetings are open to the public and the meeting site is fully accessible to all persons. Any person requiring further accommodation should contact us.
